Alaska Communications

Each summer six Alaska youths receive a $1,500 scholarship through the Alaska Communications Summer of Heroes program in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs – Alaska. Studies show youths engaged in community service do better in school and avoid risky behaviors. That’s why Alaska Communications recognizes young people making a difference in their communities.

We believe the best way to invest in Alaska is to invest in our future leaders. That’s why we support programs that help young Alaskans succeed.
— Heather Cavanaugh, Alaska Communications Director of Corporate Communications.
