Alyeska Pipeline Service Company

A school business partnership with Russian Jack Elementary school brings employees of Alyeska Pipeline Service Company in to tutor students in reading through the PAIRED Reading Program.  Each school year approximately a dozen Alyeska employees are released from work to volunteer as reading tutors for students - helping students improve their reading skills and build connections with a caring adult.  Other activities include hosting Super Citizen lunches, coordinating a Thanksgiving dinner, holiday cookies and songs, a bike rodeo, Halloween carnival, family nights and offering other support.

"The support Alyeska provides allows Russian Jack students opportunities that they may not get in any other way.  They are more than a face at Russian Jack; they are a vital part of our school community and school culture!" - Principal Elizabeth Hornbuckle

We can’t afford to postpone investing in children until they become adults. Early intervention is the best value path to the future success of our children and our businesses.
